Love God. Love People.

At EBCC, we’re a Christ-following community sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in East Baltimore. Our vision is to establish a community of godly legacies through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Meet the Pastor

Our Call to Plant in East Baltimore

My wife, Marilyn, and I moved with our youngest son, Seth, from Jacksonville, Florida, to Baltimore at the end of May 2014 for what we thought was merely for a new job for my wife. But after a little more than a year, the Lord clearly showed us that He called us to the City of Baltimore to plant a church in a neighborhood that is filled with families experiencing the same trials, trauma, and troubles that He had brought us through in our life. Despite enduring all forms of abuse, neglect, abandonment, addiction, incarceration, betrayal, death, miscarriages, depression, and even unemployment, the grace and mercy of God have not only carried us through it all but the Lord has blessed us with an inner river of hope and comfort—and a mission to reach the lost souls in our new community.

Go and Make Disciples

At EBCC, our vision is to establish a community of godly legacies through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do that by discipling men and women in our community through the Word of God so that every area of their life conforms to the image of Christ. Our strategy to carry out this mission in the City of Baltimore is by simply showing love to our community like Jesus did when He walked the earth.

Our Heart for Ministry

• Elementary School Partnerships
• Benevolence Ministry
• Building & Community Restoration Project
• Homeownership Transition Project
• Prison Recidivism Reduction Project

Each of our ministries and projects serves the needs of believers while using strategic evangelism to effectively introduce the Gospel to our mission field. Whether it is deep in the heart of the Congo or in the country of China, Baltimore City is just as much of a mission field as any—and the only strategy that can work in the mission field is the one that was established by the Lord Himself in Matthew 28:19 where He commanded us to ‘make disciples.'” —Pastor Henry Myers III
